Erin B. Shank, P.C. is proud to announce the opening of the newest office location in historic downtown Groesbeck, Texas, the county seat of Limestone County. The new law office is located at the main intersection of State Hwy 14 and Navasota Street and will be providing bankruptcy assistance to residents of the neighboring Mexia, Kosse, Thorton, Centerville, Teague, Buffalo, Fairfield, Freestone County, Leon County and Robertson County.

This region developed an economy based on agriculture which has recently expanded to various mining enterprises, small manufacturing industries and recreational and tourist attractions. Like many other rural areas, the citizens of these counties have been hard hit by the recent national economic factors that have effected so many hard working Americans.

Our Groesbeck office is rich in local history.  The official Records Table from the former Limestone County Courthouse in the 1850′s serves as a credenza in the attorneys’ office.  We also have an original juror’s chair from the 1800′s that formerly sat in the Freestone County Courthouse.  We love preserving the rich history of this area.

We have discovered that so many of our bankruptcy clients live in this area, but are forced to drive one to two hours to Waco to receive advise and prepare their bankruptcy paperwork.  We therefore opened this office to help serve this community.  We look forward to helping those who live and work in this community obtain their much deserved, fresh start.
